“To start with, I’m not a Sci-Fi fan, but this book is so well written that I forgot it was in that genre after the first few chapters. It will engage the reader pretty quickly and keep you moving forward as the story and the characters develop. The ‘word pictures’ are so vividly done that you become immersed in the scene as the puzzles and such are discovered and revealed. It has action, emotions, and mysteries. “Let me start off by saying i don’t read a lot of space-based sci-fi, but this book caught my interest and thought I’d check it out. I really enjoyed this. It’s a great first book and I cannot wait to continue with this series. The world building is complex in its entirety yet simple enough to avoid getting lost in the lingo. Introduces well written characters and a very compelling futuristic technology. Enough dialog to move you along and enough action to keep you hooked to the page. Really excited to see where the next book takes us.”
